I had a great time taking photos in Tasmania. I spent three weeks visiting beautiful places like Wineglass Bay and Cradle Mountain. I met lots of great people while I was there, including many Tasmanian photographers who sure are a friendly bunch! I met one guy in the car park at Cradle Mountain while waiting for a sunset shoot. The weather was terrible, and it didn’t look like we were going to get a shoot in so we decided to go back to the hotel and my new friend said he’d buy me a beer. We swapped tales of our travels and agreed to try again in the morning for a sunrise shoot. As it turned out the next morning dawned perfectly clear and calm. There was a stunning reflection of the mountain in the mirror like waters of the lake, and the sunrise cast a beautiful pink light over the entire scene. Needless to say we were both very proud of our shots that day.
